A Message From A. Ho
Thank you very much for posting a blog entry on the China quake and thinking of the quake victims.
Tens of thousands of people lost their lives in the 7.9-magnitude quake in Sichuan, China. The death toll is rocketing.
Just weeks ago, Myanmar, China’s neighouring country, was hit by a cyclone and a large number of survivors are desperate for relief aid.
In Hong Kong, people from all walks of life have pitched in to help the quake victims in Sichuan. Large amount of donations comes from business tycoons while other people do whatever they can to show their support to their countrymen.
May I appeal to the readers of this blog to lend a helping hand to those who were struck by the natural disasters? Keep the victims and the rescue workers in your prayer. Send donations to the charitable organizations which are organizing relief aid to China and Myanmar.
There is an old Chinese saying that goes like this, “Giving is happier than receiving”.

A Message from Colleen Chun
As a fan club that has members in many countries, we are aware and concerned about the welfare of all people around the world. Therefore, it is with tremendous sadness that we hear of the tragedy and devastation left in Myanmar after the cyclone. It is with a sense of deep sorrow to learn today that another cyclone is headed for that country once again.
Between the two cyclones is the news of a terrible earthquake in China where hundreds have lost their lives and homes.
A story on the radio came from a correspondent who happened to be nearby in a province of China. She described how a school had been destroyed. Rescue workers hurried to find surviving children, but almost everyone pulled from the wreckage was dead. She said the bodies of the school children were lined up waiting for family to identify them. As a mother, this sorrowful image broke my heart as I empathized with all the families of the children.
I simply ask that we all say a prayer, in the tradition of our chosen faiths, for the people who are suffering these disasters.

Oh Ji-ho Lands Lead Role in New KBS Series
Actor Oh Ji-ho has been cast as the lead for the upcoming Mon.-Tues. KBS TV drama series 'Single Papa in Love.'
He will play 'Kang Poong-ho,' who has a 7 year old son and works as a pest exterminator during the day and a K-1 fighter at night. The optimistic single dad never loses his sense of humor under bitter trials.
Oh says he wants to encourage the 250,000 single fathers in Korea.
He will visit Japan this Saturday to promote his drama 'Oh Soo Jung,' in which he appeared opposite actress Eom Jung-hwa. 'Oh Soo Jung' will air in Japan from next month.

Casual or Formal?
Hi everyone!
Something new at the OJHIFC site.
I think it would be fun to hear from people about things they like regarding Oh Ji Ho, so there is a poll to your right asking about the way he dresses. The idea for the poll came to me when I saw one at member Jansen Lim's site.
